Product description

Fluid drain valves GN 880 can be used for non-pressurized fluid drain or vacuum drainage.

The flow volume (l/min.) depends on the viscosity of the medium, the filling quantity, and the temperature. Guide values are available on request.

Further features are:

Easy and safe handling
Optimal flow volume
High pressure resistance: up to 100 bar
High temperature resistance: -22 °F to +248 °F, temporary up to 356 °F (-30 °C to +120 °C, temporary up to +180 °C)
100 % tested for tightness

Assembly note:
For wall thicknesses below 4 mm, use thin hex nuts GN 7430.

Build & Price

Description of Function

After removing the protective cap, which is secured against loss with a retaining cable, the matching GN 880.1 connector piece connector piece is screwed on.

This actuates the valve plate of the fluid drain valve, allowing the fluid to flow through the hose into a pan.

After draining, the connector piece is removed again. This will lower the valve plate and close the drain outlet again.

The container with the fluid drain vale is ready for refilling.
