GN 709.3 clamping pads are used as mobile supports or as thrust blocks for clamping workpieces. They can also be used as stops.
The contact face of clamping pads with automatic return moves back to its initial position after the clamping process. This prevents the ball from jamming in an inclined position when the workpiece is inserted.
The ball is limited to an angular movement of no more than 9° and is secured against further twisting.
