Information

The cylindrical shape of the hub together with the light gray cover give these control levers GN 750 a pleasent appearance.

The cover hides fasteners and provides a printing area for any symbols or logos. On assembly, the cover is pushed in by hand and can be removed with a screwdriver via a slot in the cover.

Assembly Examples

GN 750 control levers with Short Press-Fit Ball Plungers GN 614 mounted with a cross pin. The arrangement of the spring plunger facilitates simple installation; if desired the detent cone can be drilled out from the shifting hub in situ before the plunger is fitted. The recessed shaft and the bore for the spring plunger are hidden by the cover.

GN 750 control lever with hub keyway / parallel key, mounted axially by Countersunk Washers GN 184, with an annular groove for attaching pins to limit the angle of rotation.

The connection between the operating element and the shaft is often made by a cross pin or a grub screw. As a result, the user is faced with relatively high assembly costs since cross holes on operating elements are usually not readily available. Components with cross holes according to GN 110 are not only manufactured and supplied at very competitive prices but there is also no need for time-consuming design drawings. However, the geometrical shape of some operating elements does not allow the use of this standard. The d₂ pin hole is intended for use with a spring pin.
